The aftercare of your tattoo will greatly determine the way your tattoo
will look when fully healed

Your tattooist will apply cling film and tape to your tattoo upon completion.

Leave this wrap on for 3-4 hours and then remove, wash gently with antibacterial soap. pat dry with a clean towel and re-wrap with fresh cling film and tape.

You will need to wash your tattoo 2-3 times a day in the same way to remove any residue.

You will need to apply a thin layer of ointment to your tattoo twice a day for approximately 7-10 days.

I recommend an aftercare product we sell in store called 'elgato negro' or palmers coco butter.

As your tattoo heals it will begin to peel and may crust slightly, there shouldn't be any large hard scabs if you've followed this advice properly. try not to pick or scratch your tattoo as it heals.

Your tattoo should be fully healed after a month, during this time do not expose the tattoo to swimming pools, hots tubs, sun beds, hot baths (showers are fine) or any unclean conditions.
do not expose your new tattoo to the sun whilst it is healing and you will need to make sure once healed that a high factor sunscreen is applied to avoid fading and damaging it.
